We have a heron that I’ve seen often (sometimes very close), and a family of eagles that live on the property. The kids play underneath the tall pines between the house and the water. Today, around the time you sent this email, we had a couple feet of snow and ice avalanche off the roof in front of my entry. A giant physical shift with froze water.
