Nitty Gritty of Grid Work

Grid work is a blend of who we are and what we do in context to our relationship with the earth.

There are many posts online diving into the who, what and where of grid work. I find many of the explanations tend to involve words like: “activations, dragon lines, rose lineage, priestess, codes, frequencies, ley lines, crystalline grid, planetary light grid, lightworkers, starseeds” and many, many more. Any of these sound familiar?

For a long time many of these words intrigued me but I failed to truly grasp what a lot of it all meant, and I always felt out of my league when it came to grid work. I continued to read about it but the mystery remained as if the deeper I went down the rabbit hole, the more confused I felt. It had me assuming one had to be initiated into it, but by whom and by what standard? When is it is it acceptable to proclaim yourself a grid worker?

Well, I don’t know what the “official” protocol for that is BUT, after a long time I am officially at the point on my earth tending journey where I proclaim myself to be a grid worker. Based on my own experience and spiritual gatherings, here is what I believe a grid worker to be:

A human in conscious service to Mother Earth; her health, her children (all living beings) and her ascension. Every bit of light that grows on this planet through acts of kindness expressed from the heart, strengthens and heals the Earth, which fortifies her energetic field.

From here I believe grid work can expand to varying levels such as doing energy work on Earth’s energy lines, like an acupuncturist might work with the human body and its meridians. Or, using intuition to work with benevolent guides like dragons and unicorns, to conduct energy healing in the larger landscape and unseen realms.

At a simple and basic level a good example of grid work to me, would be healing your home and the land it sits on. This is where it started for me.

I’m a true believer that if you want to change the world you have to start at home. That includes your body, mind, spirit and your physical environment, your home.

This could be cleaning up the garbage in your backyard, or on the street. Leaving out water for birds and wild animals. Digging up all the old scrap metal that the previous owner left behind to rot in the ground, or planting native plants around your home.

My whole spiritual awakening that led me consciously down this path started when I moved into my homestead here in B.C. Canada. There were a few earthbound spirits roaming around and the nearby railway was leaking a lot of unpleasant energy into my home. You can read my blog post about the railway here. THEN there was the goat barn.

The goat barn was a big fixer upper project. Remnants of old blood on the walls in each stall was like a horror movie. Once I began using it daily, I started channeling intense rage and my husband admitted to noticing intrusive thoughts creeping in while he was working in there. The list of “side effects” of living here were starting to add up, and I finally sought out professional assistance to clear the energy from my property.

Fast forward to now. I have done tremendous work to this place both physically and in the unseen realms, and continue to anchor in the light here on the land. This is grid work. It doesn’t have to look fancy or use big words. Even if you hire someone to do this for you, YOU are a grid worker. It is you who is making the conscious decision to heal and improve the home and land where you live.

If you wiggled your way into this beautifully weird and wacky corner of the internet and are reading this blog post, you are most likely a grid worker.

You are a node on the grid, a node within the energetic fascial web of Mother Earth, we are not separate from her.

I believe WHAT we do is important such as what I explained above, but most importantly, it is WHO we are and what we embody, the energy that we are radiating as we walk this earth.

That energy you radiate and the codes imbedded in it are constantly being read by Earth, nature, the nature spirits like the trees and elementals. This is also why you may feel the pull to travel or live in certain places beyond logical explanation. Listen to the whispers.

Grid workers come in all shapes and sizes and doing grid work doesn’t require any fancy tools or particular trainings. Go tend your garden, build a a mandala out of fallen leaves in an uncherished corner of time, or pickup that empty can on the trail that everyone else walked by.

I hope reading this blog reminds you how much you are needed right now and that you do not need to be a celestial dragon rider, or a shaman, or a tree whisperer to be a grid worker.
